Break the silence. Stop the domestic violence.

Violence in close relationships occurs in all groups – in all walks of life. Men, women and children are all subjected to violence in close relationships. But it is women who suffer it most. According to the European Commission, one in four women are subjected to violence in close relationships at some time in their life.

The twinned towns of Haninge (Sweden), Haapsalu (Estonia), Formia (Italy), Pargas (Finland) and Ishöj (Denmark) are therefore taking the initiative to establish a new cross-border collaboration against violence in close relationships.
